What time is kick-off?

It's 12.30pm. So plan your day early.

How can I watch it?

If you are one of the lucky 53,000 to have a ticket then you have nothing to worry about because the game, of course, is a sell out.

But you can still watch the game.

The 228th Merseyside derby will be live on Sky Sports 1 from 11.30am.

And if you're unable to get near a TV screen, we will be liveblogging the derby, as usual, on www.liverpoolecho.co.uk with a team of seasoned derby observers at Anfield and another squad of journalists here in Old Hall Street.

And if you can get near a TV screen, why not keep the blog open on your phone for all the reaction, views and opinions surrounding the game?

Who is the referee?

Fans of both sides will be eagerly awaiting confirmation as to who will take charge of the game this weekend.

We'll bring you the announcement as soon as it's made.

Any injury news?

Everton will be without defender Seamus Coleman for the remainder of the season. Morgan Schneiderlin remains a major doubt with a calf problem and James McCarthy is also expected to miss out.

The Reds also have a couple injury concerns of their own. Daniel Sturridge remains doubtful but skipper Jordan Henderson could return following a foot injury.

What happened the last time the sides met?

Sadio Mane's late strike ensured the bragging rights belonged to Jurgen Klopp's men in the last Premier League match before Christmas.

Ronald Koeman described the defeat as a "very good team performance" but will be hoping his side can produce more than just a good performance on Saturday.

Any other interesting stuff I should be aware of?

Everton haven't beat Liverpool on Anfield soil since 1999. Could that change this weekend? Liverpool have won seven and drawn eight of those clashes.

What should I be betting on?

If history is anything to go by, then betting on a home win would be the most sensible thing to do.

But betting on a player to be dismissed will also likely return you with money in your pocket.
