hi guys,

last updated 20100307: full english package will be provided soon, be patient pls, only a few more days, we're preparing the package these days.

some of you maybe new to this script,  so this guide is for newbies:

please notice the versions of our package and original script package,  maybe incompatible with different versions.

1. make sure you have configured php+mysql+apache on your own server, or php+mysql shared hosting; iis will be ok too, but i didnt try.
2. create a mysql db, give the user some privileges;
3. download latest version of ucenter , ucenter home , and discuz  if you want a forum as well;
4. decompress and upload [you can also upload zipped file, and decompress it, if you use cpanel] ucenter to subdirectory on your root, /ucenter, seems like www.japansns.com/ucenter, and install it, [sorry the interface in chinese only];
5. decompress upload ucenter home to root, /, seems like www.japansns.com;
6. overwrite right files in right directory with our language package;
[Latest releases: ucenter 1.51, ucenter home 2.0, discuz 7.2], usually you can download it in a sticky thread.

that will be done.



if theres any problem just let me know.

if anyone get wrong file pls get ucenter attached, the release date is 20090121, sometimes the official link is 20081228 i think, will lead to error some friends reported.

Hello,

I want to set-up the site which like Facebook. So i have download Ucenter and Ucenter Home.
I understand that i need Ucenter 1.5 first..than i will downlaod Ucenter Home 1.5...but there are many Ucenter and Ucenter Home files...
There are files:
UCenter_1.5.0_SC_UTF8
UCenter_1.5.0_TC_UTF8
UCenter_Home_1.5_SC_UTF8
UCenter_Home_1.5_TC_UTF8

which i have to use? I need English site..so which one i need for my site...

download our full ucenter 1.5, its in english, from installation wizard to back end.
install
then download ucenter home 1.5 sc, i think tc will be fine,   they are both utf8 encoding.
install [sorry we still didnt release english installation wizard, so you may need google to help ]

overwrite some files using our translation packs, then the front end of ucenter home is in english.

we'll release a full english ucenter home 1.5  later but cant predict when.

when i doanload and install your full ucenter 1.5 i see some errors on admin screen like:

i see these errors on Admins and Members section...the other pages are normal.

seems like your hosting doesnt support fopen,   --- allow_url_fopen needed

this is enabled 99% in most hosting companies. I suggest to look for another one.

Most of pages are in English but Activities with Rewards page and add avantar flash are not english.
