What They Say

Hear from people on the team about what it's like here

L
Lin
Backend Engineer · 2 years

"From writing the first plugin on my own to leading a small backend team, the growth here has been exponential. Best of all, every decision is discussed openly on the table — no black boxes."

M
Mei
Frontend Engineer · 1 year

"Working fully remote lets me take my kid to school while still building the Three.js big screens I love. Code merges through PRs, communication runs on Feishu, and I never punch a clock."

Z
Zhang
Product Manager · 3 years

"I started with a single community section and now lead the entire tools ecosystem. Product decisions aren't hijacked by KPIs — the only question is: do users really need it?"

Hiring FAQ

Common questions about applying, interviews, and onboarding

Can I apply even if there is no matching position?
Yes. Send us your résumé and the areas you excel in; if your strengths fit the team, we will create a position for you. We value the person more than the job match.
What are the working hours for remote roles?
Flexible hours, no clocking in. Just stay available for 2–3 hours of online collaboration during the core window (10:00–16:00 Beijing time); arrange the rest yourself. We are results-oriented, not hours-oriented.
How many interview rounds are there?
Usually two: a 30–45-minute first interview on your background and interests, then a 60-minute technical or business interview. Some roles may add a portfolio walkthrough or take-home assignment, always announced in advance.
Can interns convert to full-time?
Yes. Strong performers can apply to convert after their internship; several interns have received full-time offers. Evaluation is based on actual output and teamwork, not scoring sheets.
What is the salary range?
Compensation is benchmarked against top tech companies for the same role and depends on the position, experience, and interview. Full-time roles include annual raises and equity; part-time work is paid per project or per deliverable.
Can I choose to work from the office?
Yes. Everyone is welcome at the Beijing office; out-of-town colleagues traveling to Beijing can request help with accommodation. Office attendance is never mandatory — choose whatever works best for you.
How soon will I hear back after applying?
We reply to every résumé within 3 workdays, whether or not you move to an interview. If more than 5 workdays pass without a reply, the email may have been lost — feel free to confirm via the Contatti page.
